Head, Centre of Servant Leaders

The Head, Centre for Servant Leaders (CSL), is responsible for providing visionary leadership and operational oversight to strengthen Christian servant leadership development across church communities and the College. This role leads strategic planning, program design, stakeholder engagement, bilingual facilitation (English and Chinese) and theological content integration aligned with the College’s missional values. The Head will also collaborate with external partners to promote impactful, contextualised and biblically grounded training and short-term learning experiences for lay and ministry leaders.

Operating in a dynamic and collaborative academic setting that is grounded on theology with modern instructional technologies, this role requires engagement with faculty, students and external partners to drive innovation in design and development of learning programs via various platforms. Both office-based and interactive work, including hands-on development of ministry educational programmes, facilitation, training and evaluation etc. While the work is primarily on-site at the College, there may be requirements for conferences, partnerships or professional development participation at church or external locations outside office hours. The People Experience Executive supports all aspects of the People & Strategic Growth Department. He/She must possess strong HR generalist competencies and be the go-to person for all employee-related issues. People Administration

  • Proactively keeps up to date with the regular changes in labour regulations and practices to ensure compliance
  • Update and maintain all employee digital records, digitizing processes and structures meticulously and ensure confidentiality is not compromised

The Secretary to the Principal provides confidential administrative, clerical and organizational support to ensure the efficient operation of the Principal’s Office. The role serves as the primary communication link between the Principal and internal or external stakeholders by upholding Christian values, professionalism and excellence. Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Estate

As a Senior Executive or Assistant Manager of the Estate Department, you will play a pivotal part in stewarding a diverse and active campus. This hands-on position oversees the end-to-end operations of a community-centric environment that includes on-site hostels, a canteen, offices, worship hall, library, smart classrooms and recreational facilities. Your primary focus is to ensure a safe, functional and spiritually conducive environment for students, employees and visitors by managing facilities maintenance, security protocols and fire safety compliance. Beyond day-to-day upkeep and contractor supervision, you will support the College’s mission through effective logistics for events, car park management and the coordination of essential housing and dining services.

Operations

  • Work closely with event coordinators from respective departments by providing logistical support, storage and space maintenance

  • Manage and contract the use of SBC facilities and utilities with internal/external parties for rental, lease and extended use of dormitories, apartments, worship hall, classrooms etc

  • Manage a team of cooks who provide meals to employees and students

Estate

  • Plan and manage College’s building facilities effectively (ie offices, classrooms, dormitories, canteen, carpark, landscaping etc), including operations, security and fire-safety
  • Conduct fire drills and other fire safety matters and carry out regulatory submissions as required
  • Identify and drive improvement projects and manage facilities upgrade and cost control
  • Maintenance of building facilities: water systems, electrical and solar power systems, air-conditioning systems and other equipment to ensure safety and business continuity
  • Handle procurement of materials and services to justify for cost-effectiveness
  • Manage and update contracts and licenses renewals to ensure no lapses in maintenance schedules, validity of contracts, licenses and lifespan of equipment and parts
  • Source, engage and coordinate contractors, builders, architects etc for renovation or rectification work
  • Compile quarterly report, asset listings and budget proposal
  • Manage and mentor student helpers to attend to emergencies such as power failure, water leakage promptly (including after office hours)

Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Daily facilities check, identify rectification work and track resolutions progress to ensure safety, smooth and timely resolutions
  • Brief and assign daily repair/maintenance tasks to onsite maintenance technicians
